Red Wrx S2k retro
Hey everyone. Just finished the S2k retro on my Wrx. I kind of stumbled onto the idea of doing a retro when my friend gave me a set of AP1 S2k projectors that he decided not to use on his car. I started my parts research soon after that by signing up on the HID forums. It took me a while to gather parts, mainly the E46 shrouds, which finally popped up on ebay.
![]() I had asked many of the pros for tips and advice as well as the DIY'ers on the forums. Alot of nice people on the forums that share information to make it a bit easier on us noobs! Thanks again guys. When I finally had a few days free I started in on the project. ![]() ![]() I didnt take many pictures of the process. But here are the finished product pictures. I did some more aiming adjustment last night and I think they turned out proper. I am happy with them! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for looking! Let me know what you think. -Eric Mods-- I guess this should be moved into the regular picture section, not the members journals.. Sorry! Last edited by EJS; 03-22-2008 at 09:03 PM.. |

Thanks guys. Im really happy with them! Yea, they were just a touch high in those pics. It took me a few times to get the adjustments fine tuned. No flashes from oncoming traffic now. Looks like they came on the car stock, which is what I wanted. I even had a buddy drive it for me so I could see how it looked while i was driving the opposite direction and while it was behind me.
