35w vs. 55w Ballast Output Comparison

Upgrade to a 55w ballast!

Just received the newest apexcone super slim 55w ballasts and I must say im pretty impressed with the intensity difference. The 55w is very noticably brighter then 35w, and best of all they arent the previous gen super large 55w ballasts.

What does this mean? No more modifying OEM ballasts to "boost" them. These are brand new, they are super slim, and best of all carry a lifetime warranty. What more could you want?

Just wanted to show the comparison I made earlier today, in case anyone was on the fence about the 55w vs. 35w kit.

These pictures were not modified in any way, all you digi photo gurus feel free to check the properties for proof

Thanks for those comparative stills and are you suggesting that the philips bulb is the same OEM ones, only the 55 watts ballast is only addition in the above stills.
i.e are the OEM bulbs capable of handling the new 55 watts ballast ?

And i wish to see the
apexcone super slim 55w ballasts stills or the stills of the entire kit_please !

thanks & love,
Achar.

I can still get the slim 55w ballasts/bulbs by Apexcone. Let me know if you need a set.

OEM bulbs are capable of using the 55w ballasts. It wont be as bright as a real 50w/55w bulb, but it will be close.

Is there any projectors to stay away from if your gonna use 55w ballast and bulbs? Im planning on doing a retro and still cant decide on a projector to use for it.
