There is no way something like that would hold. If you apply it right, you will never see the JB weld. Can't see it on mine whatsoever.

it'd be kinda hard to just jb weld it on an 07. i'm guessing you have the 04-05 style where you can just slide it in?

Yeah, but the 07 looks to be possible as well to put it in a place where you cannot see it.

has anyone got any suggestions as to how to get the 06-07 headlights out without taking the bumper off? i came soooo close!

but, unfortunately, there are all the parts of the car that are just slightly too important to cut off

That was the answer to the 05s as well, I had to use a crow bar to pry them out, I was terrified.

a crow bar? holy crap. i think i'd take the bumper off before i got that far. i managed to get it out with out breaking anything though.

i have to take out the passenger side one next where all those lovething things are that want to rip the skin off my hand.

I just got a set of these for my peanut wrx however I cannot easily get a hold of JB Weld as it is not common in Australia. Does anyone know of an appropriate alternative?

On the 06-07, did you just paint over the reflector?

One of my lights had an aneurysm this weekend, burst a blood vessel in the ballast. The florescent bulb wouldn't light so I hoped it wasn't the bulb that was sealed inside the headlight. Was getting crazy number of volts from the good ballast and the other put out nothin. Checked all the wires and noticed the sticker on the front of the ballast had a bulge, under it was a bubble in the plastic from some meltage.

Fixed with new parts for a good deal with Ceasar. Took an HDR to better show what these look like at night. I felt naked driving without them.

You will need a yellow bulb, or a chrome yellow one.
